Product Dosing
All GreenMed products come standard with a measured dropper. This makes it easy to establish the right dosage for each individual.
For each different strength tincture, dosing is as follows:
- GreenMed FOCUS 1500mg
0.25ml = 10mg CBD | 2.5mg THCV
0.5ml = 20mg CBD | 5mg THCV
0.75ml = 30mg CBD | 7.5mg THCV
1ml = 40mg CBD | 10mg THCV
If you are new to using these types of products, we suggest starting with the 1000mg option first. This cost the least and is a good way to experiment and find the right dose that works for you.
If the product works well, you can buy the larger dosages to last longer and save lots of money in the long run!
Product Directions
This product is intended for daily use. Everyone experiences a slightly different response, so our best advice is to start with a low dose and increase slowly until you reach the desired effects. We urge patients to commit to using any product consistently for at least 30 days to give enough time to evaluate how the product is working.
If you are new to taking these types of products, start with .25ml every morning on the measured dropper.
Take 0.25ml under the tongue 1x per day for 4 days.
After 4 days (if needed), increase to 0.5ml under the tongue 1x per day and continue this dose for 4 days.
After another 4 days, Increase to 0.75ml under the tongue 1x per day if needed and continue this dose for 4 days.
Continue increasing in .25ml increments every 4 days until you feel like you are getting good results. If you experience any side effects, lower the dose or discontinue use. Side effects are typically mild and could include, lethargy, upset stomach, sleeplessness.
Just as a point of reference, some people respond great to 0.25ml daily. Some need 2-3ml daily or more. There are many factors that dictate the effective dose like tolerance, body weight, and severity of symptoms.
Effective dosages are different for every individual and can range from 2mg – 300mg or even higher. The best thing you can do is listen to your body.

Why Would I Use THCV?
Tetrahydrocannabivarin (THCV): THCV has some very unique effects that really set it apart from other cannabinoids. The structure of the THCV molecule is similar to that of THC, but the effects are markedly different.
THCV is thought to act more like a stimulant that may potentially increase focus and energy as well as suppress appetite. Usually people think of the munchies when it comes to cannabis, but THCV has been dubbed “diet weed” by many.
Currently, THCV is being studied for uses in controlling blood sugar in patients with diabetes. GW Pharmaceuticals is running clinical trials using a 20:1 CBD:THCV ratio for this purpose. Check the study out HERE.
GW Pharma also has patents on the use of THCV as a neutral antagonist of the cb1 cannabinoid receptor. The diseases they will try to treat using these patents include: obesity, schizophrenia, epilepsy, cognitive disorders (Alzheimer’s Disease), bone disorders, bulimia, obesity associated with type II diabetes, and in the treatment of drug, alcohol and nicotine abuse or dependency. See the patent HERE.
Of course, the FDA hasn’t approved THCV for any of these uses just yet, but research is well under way.
